About this beach
This west‑facing beach is a sweeping stretch of sand and pebbles backed by sand dunes, extending for seven kilometres from Tywyn in the north to Aberdyfi harbour in the south. The bathing water lies within the Lleyn Peninsula and Sarnau Special Area of Conservation, with the Dyfi Site of Special Scientific Interest just to the south, reflecting the area’s high conservation value.
